Chillis and peppers:

  • Peter Pecker

  • Bell pepper
  • Dorset Naga

  • Hot portugal
  • Sweet Pepper

Tomato:

 

  • Hawian Currant

  • Eva Purple Ball

 

Other Veg:

  • Peas Early and meteor
  • Sweetcorn
  • Potato – Nicola,charlotte, kestrel and maris piper
  • red onion 
  • leek
  • parsnip – gladiator and white gem
  • golden cabbage
  • romanesco broccoli
  • mangetout
  • sugarsnap peas
  • purple climbing beans
  • french beans
  • Cucumber – telegraph, telapathy and crystal lemon
  • courgette – taxi f1
  • melon
  • butternut squash

Everything is still quite small due to the poor weather but they will hopefully shoot up soon.

I dug the veg beds over and added some more fertiliser, i then netted them to stop next doors cats using them as a toilet, i cut the grass, planted various veg seeds and had a general tidy round, im still way behind with most of my jobs, the polycarb for my greenhouse has just arrived so i can get that fixed this week.

anwyay here are a few pictures of the garden and my mates cute puppy, alfie the boxer dog who we have just finished dog sitting.

I guess it could have been worse, next doors was totally destroyed this time…..in broad daylight too by the sounds of things

they were obviously nicking off school and will no doubt get away with it as no one saw anything, what they need is a bloody good clout round the ears and at the risk of sounding like a grumpy old man….it never did me any harm.

It’s also giving me second thoughts about getting some dogs, as although they would be no where near the greenhouse im not sure i would fancy leaving them in their kennel and the garden during the day incase the same little scroats decided to pelt them with stuff.

Well not much i can do about it now i guess apart from price up some toughened glass or perspex…..if anyone knows a good supplier please get in touch.
