I’ve just finised reading an excellent write up of the levens hall chilli festival, unfortuantley work and time conspired against me and i couldn’t get there so i have had to make do with reading peoples reports on twitter!
@quirkytraveller posted her report today, and what a great report it is, i especailly love the pic of the elephant hedge with the mexican hat on.

Thanks very much for publishing my article on the Chilli Fest. I got a lovely email from Levens Hall, who are passing round the news. Is it too late in the year to get a chilli plant to grow on my window sill?!

No worries, wish i could have been there.
as for chilli’s on the windowsill, probably a bit late to start them now as the nights are drawing in and they need plenty of light, i’d wait until feb and get sowing then.
